Democrats are trying to make hay of Sarah Palin flubbing where she was speaking today, referring to Grand Rapids -- the Michigan city where the Republican ticket was Wednesday night for a town hall meeting -- for Cedar Rapids, the Iowa town and site of today's rally. But they might not want to go there.

Their standard-bearer Barack Obama, of course, has had his share of geographic miscues during the long campaign.

In May, he declared, "Thank you Sioux City!" That would be in Iowa.

Unfortunately, he was Sioux Falls in South Dakota. That came about a week after Obama told a campaign crowd in Oregon that he had already visited 57 states.

And just this week, Obama said it was great to be back in Denver, when he was more than 100 miles south in Pueblo, Colo.
