Anchorage Lincoln Day Dinner: Keynote Address Gov. Sarah Palin (Update)

CELEBRATE LINCOLN'S BIRTHDAY WITH YOUR FELLOW REPUBLICANS!!!

March 20th
Anchorage Hilton Hotel
6:30 PM - Doors Open
7:00 PM - Program Begins

Update: I am putting this update here as to not bump back the Lincoln Dinner information here in Alaska.

I talked with APOC today and I asked about the on-line data on Hollis French. I asked specifically about an 8/21/08 and 9/24/08 log of $1000.00 contribution made by the NEA PACE. As stated on a previous thread, if there were two contributions of $1000.00, then it would be against the law.

The APOC person told me that the entries were the same check. So I looked into what was on-line, because I come from the motto, trust but verify. So I went to verify by looking at sequences of check numbers the NEA wrote and the dates.

Below you will find the sequences with Hollis French's check number 7677 clearly falling out of the sequential order on the dates.

When you look at the NEA contributions before the end of the primary on August 22nd 2008, candidates filed a 24 hour report.

Hollis did, Berta Gardner did. Max Grunberg did. Harry Crawford did. This means they recieved the contribution before August 22nd, 2008 not after...

Berta Gardner had her contribution correctly filed. Harry Crawford had his contribution correctly filed. Max Gruenberg had his contribution correctly filed.

Hollis French was the only one who didn't.

The question is; why is check number 7677 listed as 9/24/2008 when APOC has listed the 24hour report of Hollis getting a contribution before the August primary?

According to APOC it is the same check. Moreover, if it was the same check, why was it not correctly filed like the others?

It seems odd that a candidate would file a 24-hour report on the contribution, then forget about it.

It is clear that APOC does a lousy job at keeping records correct. Case in point, they have Beth Kertulla as getting two checks on the same day under the NEA PACE list..

To put it bluntly, this agency does not breed confidence in their ability to investigate matters. Or oversee the contribution process.

so I see you will be attending the Lincoln Day Dinner, I have been working with the ARP as a coordinator for students, I will be there as the president of the UAA Conservative Advocates Club. I think between 25 and 30 students are coming with me. I will try to find you and chat, see you there.

Jason, unfortunately, I have to miss it. My work schedule will get in the way.

Jason, just a thought, has your group thought about live blogging the event?
