The 41st person in Iowa has died from complications related to the H1N1 influenza while health officials await a "third wave" of infection that might not arrive until next year -- in a different guise.
"I still recommend people get vaccinated," said Dr. Patricia Quinlisk, medical director for the Iowa Department of Public Health. "I am asked, 'What if I get my vaccination and the third wave doesn't come.' It won't be a waste. A lot of the experts I have talked to say H1N1 will come back next year as seasonal flu. This virus will be around for a while."
