Back in January I noticed that visits from Russia had dropped off to where there where no visits - I posted the significance in dropped visits here. At the time when Russian visits had dropped off, a huge spike in visits from the Ukraine took place - a few weeks later Maidan took place.
For the past two weeks visits from Ukraine continue but China and Turkey are the two top countries where people visit this site.
I would say that there are some major issues over energy (pipeline from Iran going through Turkey and China may have some interest in this) and the issue with separatists that will be coming to light.
Update: Since the time of this post - visits from Turkey have dropped off the map.

World politics is just hard to solve. The Russia and Ukraine are always in a conflict and China is going to play a major role. The visitors must be aware of their part.
