WIB Jakarta - Barack Obama kecil masih diingat oleh teman-teman sepermainannya di Jakarta. Barry, panggilan Barack saat kecil, supel dan pandai bergaul. Selain bermain gundu dan sepakbola, Barry juga sering bersama teman-temannya ke musala. "Kita dulu juga sering mengajak dia ke musala dekat rumah. Kalau pakai sarung, lucu deh," kata Rony Amir, teman sepermainan Barry saat tinggal di Jl. H. Ramli, saat berkisah mengenai kenangan bersama Barry kepada detikcom, Rabu (5/7/2006).

Tentang sepak terjang Barry di AS, Rony Amir turut merasa bangga. Menurut Rony, sejak kecil, Barry memang suka bergaul. Barangkali inilah yang menjadi modal bagi Barry, sehingga menjadi politisi yang cukup disegani di AS.

Bila Barry datang ke Indonesia, Rony tenty saja berharap bisa bertemu dengannya.
