It is evident Sarah Palin needs to learn a few things from Herman Cain about politics and the number one thing she needs to learn is: own-up-to-your-mistakes.

The next thing, as Herman Cain has stated, surround yourself with good and Able people, which Palin did not do (and in my opinion, based on published twitter DM’s, continues to not do - a.k.a. Rebecca Mansour) as is indicated by the legislation she signed into law and the kiss-and-tell books that have been written by people she surrounded herself with.
