Michele Bachmann is tossing around a new verb: "Palinize."
In the subject line of a fundraising pitch, Bachmann sends out a plea for money saying, "Don't let them Palinize me!"
Bachmann goes on to explain that Sarah Palin has been demonized by the left, and she quotes Sean Hannity saying she is now the "second-most-hated Republican woman" after Palin.
"With Gov. Palin taking a well-deserved step out of the spotlight, it appears that I may be absorbing even more of the liberals' scorn," Bachmann said.
But the Minnesota Republican also seems worried, as she warns that Democrats are raising "$30,000 a week" to defeat her.
Bachmann even drops in the urban dictionary definition of Palinize:
Palinize:
To smear or mock someone using falsehoods, baseless accusations or unsubstantiated character assassinations for the purpose of blocking them from achieving a goal.
To exaggerate the truth or lie by omission.
Now where did the term Palinize come from?
The term was even used here in past tense, when talking about Bachmann.
Where has Politico been on the term of Palinize? They have been doing a little Palinizing themselves, here .
